我的實驗室工作主要是大學畢業後考上清華大學研究所，然後到食品工業發展研究所進行論文，畢業後則繼續於該所工作。

三十多年前食品所的微生物實驗室是國內少數進行生物技術實驗的實驗室，我的論文是進行細菌基因選殖，指導教授是許文輝博士，他主持了食品所的菌種中心。我的論文及研究範疇技術有包括DNA、蛋白質、免疫分析、PCR、微生物檢驗等。
